How to make a request

Email support@wheezydoesit.co.uk with:

  • Your name and preferred contact details.
  • The right you wish to exercise.
  • Enough information to identify the relevant correspondence or record.
  • The date range or subject where that helps locate information.

Identity and clarification

Wheezy Does It may need to confirm identity or ask for clarification. Only information proportionate to the risk and request should be requested.

Timescales and complex requests

Requests must be handled within the applicable legal timeframe. The organisation should record receipt dates, identity checks, extensions, exemptions and responses. A specific internal workflow and responsible person must be approved before launch.

When information may be withheld

Some rights are not absolute. Information may need to be retained or withheld where an exemption applies, another person’s rights would be affected, or legal, safeguarding or dispute responsibilities require it. Any refusal should be explained.
