Health claims should favour current primary or authoritative sources such as NHS, NICE, government bodies, recognised professional organisations and the original publisher of a resource.

4. Authorship and dates

Articles should identify the author or contributing organisation where appropriate. Publication and review dates should be displayed for content that may become outdated.

5. Community contributions

Personal stories require permission and may be edited for clarity, privacy, accessibility, length and safety. Contributors must not be promised publication.

6. Corrections

Potentially unsafe information should be reviewed promptly. Material may be corrected, temporarily withdrawn or permanently removed. Significant corrections should be recorded internally.
